Volunteer Opportunity with Bay County Conservancy

The Land Conservancy of Northwest Florida

Saturday, May 25th, 2019

8:00 a.m. until?...

Join us for a work morning at the Audubon Nature Preserve.

Volunteers can meet at the Doctors' Pond boardwalk, located on State Avenue, between 19th and 23rd Streets.

There is a pile of debris beside the boardwalk that needs to be cleared so that the boardwalk can be repaired. The area is swampy, so people should wear rubber boots or old shoes that can get wet. Experienced adults with chainsaws and safety equipment would be welcome and there will be plenty of hauling for others to do. Recommended: work gloves, bug spray, extra water, hat.
